Bio-Living Cell Therapy at Victory Clinic

I was very humbled to be invited by the lovely Meli to receive a complimentary Bio-Living Cell (BLC) Therapy treatment at Victory Clinic, Chatswood.

I’m no expert on BLC Therapy, so for all the details, check out their website: Victory BLC Therapy Clinic. When they asked me to come in, I honestly had no idea what to expect and could find little information on the internet about the treatment.

THE CONSULT:

Like what you’d expect from any professional skincare clinic, we begun with a consult. Bio-Living Cell Therapy was explained to me in depth, but I didn’t really get it, since it was a lot to take in! The girls at the Victory Clinic discuss the concerns, and expected results with their patients prior to treatments. I found this helpful, since I went in to the clinic, not really knowing what to expect.

Apparently, the treatment is very new to Australia. Victory BLC Therapy also have a clinic in Indonesia.

THE TREATMENT:

Not going to lie, pretty much through most of the treatment, I was thinking, ‘Dang, this is so weird.’ Having a metal cylinder rolled on you just doesn’t seem like something that would actually do anything (check out my “what have I got myself into” face). I did however find the whole treatment very relaxing and soothing. The staff were very friendly, professional and very good at communicating.

I received the full treatment involving the face, scalp, shoulders and back. The most relaxing part was definitely the face. For all of the treatments, I had to hold on to a metal rod, which had something to do with ion roller. Also, the Victory Clinic use good quality skin treatments and serums along with the ion roller. The staff were very kind to talk me through the whole process, to help me understand. The treatment finished after an hour or so and ended on such a pleasant note, being a green tea sheet mask.

THE RESULT:

INTERMEDIATELY AFTER: I was genuinely shocked and impressed at the result of this treatment. I didn’t even think it was meant to target this sort of thing, but the treatment managed to slim down my face! I’m not even kidding. Like noticeably make my face look slimmer. I will insert photos for reference.

THAT NIGHT (FEW HOURS LATER): Wow, wow, wow, my skin actually feels amazing. Like my face just feels great. It also feels very soft and hydrated and happy. Think I’m going to have a great skin day tomorrow! Hopefully I can go concealer free :D.

NEXT DAY + FOLLOWING WEEK: I think my skin was the best the night of the treatment. Overall the treatment made my skin much brighter and toned my face, for the next few days. To ‘permanently’ have the effects of the treatment, I think you would need to have it done once every couple of weeks or so.

SUMMARY:

If you are a facial junkie, I would highly recommend the BLC Therapy since it would be something different for you. I would also recommend this before a special event like your wedding, as I really liked how it toned up my face. The process itself was also very relaxing, and the staff were professional and very friendly. Personally, I don’t recommend the treatment for the back, since I didn’t feel a huge difference, but we are all different, so it could work well for you.

I was invited to receive this service free of charge. I do my best to ensure this does not effect my opinions. This is an honest review.

Love anything relaxing in this busy world! The scalp massage you get at the hairdressers is what dreams are made of.

To be honest ‘BLC therapy’ is super confusing and I don’t know what’s going on, especially since there isn’t much info online. They essentially applied a serum and then rolled this metal roller all over my face for an hour.

I’ve not had any sort of relaxation session, let alone a facial for 30 years lol! Sounds so good Mel, and I can really see the difference in your photos – you look even more gorgeous xxx
