Long Hair First World Problems

This is a post for all the girls out there who understand the struggles of long hair life. Even if you don’t have long hair, but have in the past, or even haven’t, I’m sure you’ll be able to relate to at least one of these First World Problems, or at least get a laugh.

Accidentally dipping you hair in your food or drink while eating or drinking

Taking over an hour to curl or straighten your hair

Your hair sheds lots, everywhere in your house (no where is safe)


 Husband: “How do you lose some much hair and not go bald?!”

Takes about a billion hours for your hair to air dry and literally will not air dry completely if you have it tied up at all


 Washing your hair takes careful time and planning to avoid rocking up to an event with a wet hair dripping all over your clothes.

KNOTS; Particularly at the back of your head.

 You think you’re rocking a model-do but from behind there’s a nasty knot resembling some sort of rodent nest. #FWP

Accidentally flicking people in the face with your with any sudden head movements when rocking a ponytail.

Windy day’s and look good wearing your hair out are two things that can’t co-exist together.
Styling it with heat tools will take add AT LEAST 1 hour to your get-ready time

    LOL! Loved this post! I don’t have long hair, but I can empathise! I used to have long hair when I was a lot younger, the pain of wanting to look “oh so feminine” was unbearable!

    Thanks for the laugh! I have long hair and windy days mean I shouldn’t wear a lip gloss as my hair just gets stuck to it!

    Such a fun and entertaining read hon – golly I’ve wanted long hair all my life but it never grows past my shoulders, and I’m kinda thinking that’s a good thing now lol xxx

    Hey, I think your site might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your website in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, wonderful blog!
