The new L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Cleansers come in three formulas. I will review each separately because they feel quite different on the skin. I was quite excited to try these cleansers since I loved the L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Masks that were released several months ago. I received these three cleansers as a PR sample from L’Oreal and they included this super cute monogrammed face towel to go with it.
L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Charcoal Detoxifying Gel Wash 150 mL RRP $14.99
I like this wash. It feels nice and reminds me a lot of a normal clay, charcoal mask but a mini version of the experience. Like using the express checkout at Coles, instead of the normal, full commitment, trolley packed, have a chat with the check out chick type checkouts. However, I still definitely feel the need to use a proper charcoal mask every once in a while to help my face out.
L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Eucalyptus Purifying Cream Wash 150 mL RRP $14.99
My skin loved this cleanser the most out of the three. I found it to be the gentlest of the Clay Cleansers but still felt like it was soothing my skin as well as giving it a thorough clay clean. I love to leave this cleanser on my skin for 5 minutes for an ‘express clay mask’ treatment then wash off as normal. Highly recommend! Definitely my go-to pick fo’ sure.
L’Oreal Paris Pure Clay Red Algae Exfoliating Scrub 150 mL RRP $14.99
Although I do enjoy this scrub I found my slightly sensitive skin didn’t like if I left it on too long. This one does have little grainy bits in it to exfoliate your skin. Nice product but not my favourite of the bunch. I think it works bests if I focus it on the tougher parts of the skin on my face, like my forehead and it’s also great for my décolletage area.
- I love the packaging, the tubes are so convenient and practical.
- The fun, moussey texture is also a win. Very easy to apply and massage into the skin.
- First ‘clay’ cleansers I’ve tried and I give them a big thumbs up
- Perfect if you want the ‘clay treatment’ without having to wait for a mask to dry
