Project Pan Start – All Makeup 2017

Alas, here we are again, my Project Pan start for 2017, only 8 months late LOL. The time has come to attempt Project Pan All Makeup once again. It can be very intimidating to re-attempt something you have failed at previously, but I’m trying to be strong and push on #firstworldproblems.

My motivation to do this Project Pan is that I want to start using up the makeup I own before they expire, and also because I want to become more of a minimalist. Beauty blogger and minimalist usually aren’t phrases that go together, but here’s hoping it works out.

I was realistic this time round, see here for my previous project Pan,  and hope to actually succeed. Most of the products I picked I actually like and use regularly.

Products Include:

  • M.A.C Fix + Mini in Lavender
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Cushion Stick Foundation
  • Australis Highlighter
  • Clinique Blush in Aglow
  • Burts Bees Lipstick
  • Rimmel London Stay Matte Powder
  • Bobbi Brown Retouching Wands
  • Maybelline Colour Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze
  • Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil
  • Rimmel London Double Ended Eyeshadow Stick

Please let me know your tips for a Project Pan Start! I need all the help I can get #realtalk.

I love this idea, but its overwhelming to know where to start first, being a beauty blogger is the biggest challenge in using older makeup before expiry as there is so much new stuff to test out! Love the video.

      Hey Bernie,
It’s so overwhelming hey. I’ve found it helpful to say no to more products but I still get FOMO sometimes haha. I LOVE testing new makeup but I also love using up makeup, so I think I might give more makeup away to friends that I’ve tried but don’t like, so there’s left wastage. Thanks so much for watching the video and also for commenting!

    Hey Mel,
I just found your blog, i was searching for a blogpost since i would like to project pan myself at home (no platform). Its inspiring to see various you tubers and bloggers utilizing their makeup more than simply piling it on. I would like to work on ten things myself:
    1. Chanel Foundation (3/4 left) have owned it for the past 3 years and it isn’t even half as good as my Revlon Colorstay or Este Lauder Double wear foundation
    2. Maybelline Mousse Foundation (1/2 left) – don’t remember the exact name but owned it for close to 3 years again
    3. Maybelline – Color Tattoo – Bad to the bronze (1/4 left) – i adore the shade but i don’t feel its long lasting enough for my oily eyelids, despite of using it with my Nars eye primer
    4. Mac Studio Fix concealer – NW 30 (1/2 left) – i use it only for my under eye but ever since i have been introduced to pro long wear concealer there is not going back
    5. Mac something special (1/2 left) – the smell is starting to go back since it is a cream blush also i received a new taste cream blush palette, which, i would like to start using
    6. Rimmel – Setting powder – (1/4 left) – i don’t quiet fancy it and feel just something that i got into the hype and bought – therefore, i would like to finish it
    7. Any two eyeshadow
    8. Tarte – exposed blush (new) – i just want to hit pan on it
    9. NYX Coffee Lipliner – (1/4 left) – i would like to use it up since last year i went into a lipliner craze and bought close to 40 new ones (majority belonging to MAC and NYX)
    10. Naked Flush Palette (1/4 left) – i adore this palette but its close to finishing therefore, i feel its the fastest to leave my stash
Anyhow wish me good luck and i hope we will go through the journey together! Cheers, Veena S.
