If you’ve ever shopping online for beauty products, you’ve heard of RY.com.au. RY stands for Recreate Yourself and they have the claim of Australia’s largest online haircare and beauty store! The lovely Aimee from RY.com.au has sent me some of her favourite products from the site to review.
Jane Iredale Glow Time Mineral BB Cream 50ml $62.32
Shade bb3 is way, way too light for me. The formula seems okay. Sticks to the skin, but feels hydrating. They have lots of other shades though thankfully, and I’d be keen to try a darker one in future so I can properly test the product.
Youngblood Contour Palette 15g $65.56
I really like packaging. Such a beautiful compact with a magnetic closure. The two lighter ‘contour’ shades are too light for my skin tone, but thankfully the darkest shade works well. Thank goodness they included that shade for us women of colour! Not the hugest fan of the lighter shades, but I typically prefer to use concealer for highlighting anyway. Nice and pigmented, yet blend-able. A little powdery but the workable formula makes up for it. Definitely recommend this palette! Only downside is lack of mirror.
Poni Cosmetics Brow Magic Eyebrow Pencil 0.05g $29.00
Kinda, very much, love this brow product! Really easy to use, nice colour for me. Nice fine tip for filling in brows and a handy spoolie on one end for blending.
Lulu & Lipstick Eyelash Curler Deep Purple & Rose Gold $29.95
This is a sparkly eyelash curler and it curls eyelashes. Nothing special about it, works fine. Curling my eyelashes makes a huge difference to my straight Asian lashes, and I welcome another eyelash curler into my life.
KORA Exfoliating Cream $54.95
I just plainly didn’t like this product. It had such an off-putting stench and didn’t work how I wanted it to. Each to their own though, I know the KORA brand has a huge following. I did use it for my face and perhaps it would have worked better for the body. It is the type of exfoliator with the little beads it in. Won’t be using this again.
